I eventually played no poker at all today, which I'm fine with. Drove into the strip to see a few people, and buy in for tomorrow, to avoid any lines in the morning. Met up with a pal for a very nice meal at the Italian restaurant high up at the Palms, overlooking Las Vegas at night (even nicer as dinner was comped-somehow food always tastes a lot better that way), then we went to the cinema downstairs to see Keanus new film John Wick. Didn't know much about it, but I always like to give a Keanu Reeves film the benefit of the doubt for some reason, I've heard he's a good guy with a troubled past, so for whatever that means, I'm more inclined to see his film. Anyway, it was a bit far fetched, stick your brain in a jar at the door and collect it on the way out kind of action, but was good enough to kill a few hours and certainly no regrets. The bad guys in the film were Ruskis AGAIN. My wife will not be impressed at all at her comrades being the villains once more in film. It's their fault for having such a Machiavellian accent I guess.
Home pretty early, before 11, so chill at the house, up in the morning and some exercise methinks, bit of grub, few errands, then drive to the office to park up at table 9 seat 8 before noon. Let the games begin.
