About 84 players left from the total field of 290, and 30 get paid. Seen a few Gris bust outs so far. I'm down to 20k.

We're up and away.

Chip leader on the table on my right. A few smiles and comments but generally the table is so far pretty sullen and humourless. I start the day in the big blind and have just folded so far.
One guys A5 shove was just called by QQ. A queen rivered to give the A5 a straight. Sometimes this game makes you want to throw up.

Out in 83rd. I raise w AK to 3k. The table folds to the bb who moved me allin and I call. I'm not a fan of calling for a flip but with this stack I feel I don't really have much choice if I'm going to get anywhere near back to average.

Me AK

Him 99

Board runs out all rags.

To me, there are always a few key moments in tournaments that define if you win or lose. I don't mean winning hands as such, more the acts of god or whatever that can have a butterfly effect. Mine was when I got moved in the bb from my first table yesterday, and as a result ended up getting moved another 5 or 6 times. If the floor arrive 3 seconds earlier or later then I don't get moved from a great table, but they do and off I go. I'm not saying this cost me anything, who knows, moving could have actually been what made me win the event, but from my point it didn't help once I was settled in with the table and the players. Just an observation.

Yesterday was painful, and today I probably needed to win a decent hand early to be able to open up and play a little. It didn't happen and that was that. There is an argument that I cashed for the same amount as the guy who busted out with aces in level one against an obvious straight, but I'd like to think I gave myself a better shot to win than he did, and will again in the long run.

To everyone who either has had a share, or has kept in touch in person or with messages, I would like to thank you for keeping the faith and for your support.my mum, my wife Alina, and my friends here in Las Vegas, in the UK, and around the world. The events were fun for the most part, and I can't wait to get out here again for the next one. Kudos to Joe Vigurs, Gary Hager, and the entire Wynn poker team for running a superb event.

Shareholders on this trip will receive a statement and a financial return in due course once I finish the sums and email all of you.

I'm around here for another week or so on my own dime maybe playing tournaments a bit at the Venetian, Wynn and various places around town. The trip has been a winner of sorts, and I'll regroup, get the next schedule up on the website soon and most likely be back out here early in 2015.

Thanks again to one and all. Catch you soon!
