Shrugged off yesterday's bubble exit and climbed back into the saddle today for the Venetians daily event, which has a $10k guarantee. Around 100 players, and I'm plodding along up to the first break, without much to report.
I'm not planning on filling my spare days with poker. The aim has always been to play less and play smarter, hence the website,but I'll always play a bit on my own dime, and these one dayers with guarantees are always good for a punt if you're not burnt out and haemorrhaging money. One bullet and slow and steady and my 10k start is up to 15k with no heroics.
102 starters, exactly half the field has now been vaporised, and I'm still in plod mode unfortunately.most of the table is friendly enough, but no ones really made any major errors all afternoon, so it's down to hands and timing basically, and I don't have the wiggle room chip wise to get too frisky. No complaints but we'll see. Just starting level 7 with about 12 bigs.
